Pizza Dough (One large pizza crust)
Ingredients:
- 2 - 6 oz containers of nonfat plain Greek yogurt
- 1 cup self rising flour
- Put ingredients in a bowl. Mix well with a dough hook for 10 minutes. (Add flour 1 Tbsp at at time if it is super sticky, it is supposed to be sticky though)
*You could also put in your bread machine (if you have one) for 10 minutes--this is what I do. - Preheat oven with pizza stone or you can use a cookie sheet. (400 degrees F)
- While you oven is preheating, sprinkle your counter top liberally with flour, dump out dough and knead a little so it is lightly coated with flour on the outside. Using a floured rolling pin, roll out the pizza dough, flipping it every so often so it doesn't stick. Sprinkle more flour as needed.
- Place on pizza stone or cookie sheet and prebake for 10 minutes while you assemble your ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 Bell Pepper Sliced
- 1/2 Red Onion Sliced
- 1 small container portablla mushrooms sliced
- 1/2 lb steak sliced into thin strips (I used sirloin)
- 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Alfredo Sauce
- 1/2 - 1 cup Shredded Italian Blend Cheese
- Heat the oil in a skillet
- Cook the steak, when it is almost done, add the bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Cook until slightly tender (they will continue to cook in the oven).
- Spread Alfredo sauce on prebaked pizza dough (see recipe above)
- Top with the skillet mixture.
- Sprinkle the top with cheese
- Bake at 400 degrees until the cheese is melted and/or slightly browned.
